It all started during the quiet days of the pandemic. While the world slowed down, Michael’s basement in Ontario, Canada, sprouted up. What began as a lockdown hobby quickly bloomed into a full-blown fungal obsession. 
But as Michael successfully cultivated crop after crop, he realized these weren't just science experiments; they were powerhouses of health.
He knew he had to share them. But he also knew that eating a plate of mushrooms every day isn’t for everyone.

Enter the Cross-Country Alchemy.

From his lab, Michael began freeze-drying his harvest—locking in the nutrients at their peak—and mailing the powders across the country to Stephanie in British Columbia. There, the collaboration truly began. We didn’t just want to make supplements; we wanted to create a ritual.
We spent months blending, tasting, and tweaking. We combined Michael’s potent mushrooms with Stephanie’s eye for flavor and herbal synergy, creating teas that didn't just "work"—they actually tasted incredible.

Outsiders didn't launch in a boardroom; it launched in the open air. We took our formulations to local farmers markets, serving up cups to real people with real pains—digestive issues, brain fog, sleepless nights. The verdict was unanimous: people loved the convenience, they loved the flavour, and they loved how it made them feel and the ritual it inspired them to adopt.

Why "Outsiders"?

We didn't choose the name because we’re trying to keep this a secret club. Quite the opposite. We chose it because we know who our tea connects with.
